This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and process platform data when you connect your Meta Ad accounts, Facebook Pages, and Instagram Professional accounts to our platform.

2. Information We Collect
To provide our ad guardrail alerts, creative fatigue analysis, and performance dashboards, we access and store specific data through the Meta Graph APIs and Facebook Login for Business.
Meta Ad Accounts & Campaign Data
We retrieve details of your ad accounts, campaigns, ad sets, ads, budgets, and real-time performance insights (spend, clicks, impressions, conversions, CPA, and ROAS). This is required to monitor your daily caps and run ad fatigue checks.
Facebook Pages & Instagram Accounts
We retrieve lists of Facebook Pages you manage and connected Instagram Business/Creator accounts. We read basic profile metadata, media items (posts, reels), and media insights (likes, comments, reach, impressions, and demographics) to compile Instagram analytics.
Account and Security Credentials
We store your email, name, secure password hashes, and encrypted Meta OAuth access tokens. These tokens allow our secure background scanner to fetch your metrics according to your alert configurations.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the data retrieved from Meta APIs strictly to run your AdBoard dashboard and features:
- To compile, format, and display ad campaign performance charts.
- To analyze ad creative assets (reels, images) for potential performance fatigue and CTR erosion.
- To evaluate campaigns against your configured rules and send notifications via Slack, SMS, or Email when thresholds are breached.
- To perform actions you explicitly trigger, such as pausing an ad set, activating a campaign, or renaming assets.
- To manage team invitation permissions and agency role assignments.
We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your Meta platform data or business metrics with any third parties under any circumstances.
4. Data Protection & Encryption
We employ industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to keep your data secure. All Meta Access Tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM before being stored in our PostgreSQL database. Communication between your browser, our application servers, and Meta Graph APIs is secured using Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS).
5. Compliance with Meta Developer Policies
Our application complies fully with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We only request the minimum API permissions (such as ads_read, ads_management, and instagram_manage_insights) necessary to run our advertised features. We respect all privacy settings configured by users in their Facebook and Instagram accounts.
6. Data Retention & Deletion Instructions
We store your data only as long as you maintain an active account with us. You can disconnect your Meta accounts or request the deletion of all platform data stored on our servers at any time.
